Good to know
Is a track day a race?
No. There is no timing, no ranking and no race start. The focus is on driving pleasure, car control and the shared experience.
Do I need a racing licence?
No. A valid driving licence is enough. Beginners drive guided laps with radio in the morning before the track opens.
Which car can I bring?
Any car suitable for sporty driving on a race track: from street-legal GTs to cup and race cars. No registration required, road tyres and slicks are allowed. SUVs and formula cars are excluded.
Can someone ride with me?
Yes, with a passenger ticket. At the Red Bull Ring adults and children aged 14 and over may ride along.
How loud may my car be?
For 26 June 2027 we have booked the Red Bull Ring without a dB limit.
How do I get my own pit box or coaching?
You book both together with your ticket. Mathias personally assigns your box number and coaching time after booking.
What should I bring?
Helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers, plus sturdy shoes. Everything else is taken care of.
